Women of Grace
The Bethesda Hospital Foundation’s Annual Women of Grace Luncheon honors five outstanding individuals who have contributed remarkable service to local organizations. The elegant, heart-warming and inspiring event introduces each honoree, in person and through a video vignette highlighting their volunteer work and accomplishments. Event proceeds benefit Bethesda’s Center for Women and Children. As a community, the funds we raise will provide for the growth and expansion of the Hospital’s nationally recognized Centers for Medical Excellence. These expansions represent not only a physical development of the Hospital and its facilities, but a new approach to quality healthcare in our community. The Women of Grace award luncheon was started in 2000 to honor the dedication and continuing hard work of Trudy Willms, a Bethesda volunteer who has donated more than 70,000 hours at the Hospital since 1976.
Co-Chairs Stephanie Morfogen and Nicole Mugavero and their committee are planning a special day for the 11th Annual Women of Grace Luncheon to take place November 11, 2010 at The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach. Suzanne Boyd, anchor of the FOX 29 10 o'clock news and anchor of News 12's 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. newscasts will preside as emcee.
